The tragedy occurred in the Cuevas del Salnitre, in Collbató, Barcelona. Isak Andic was accompanied by his son when he suffered a fall of about 492 ft. (150 meters) in the ravine. However, the rescue efforts were unsuccessful, and Andic's body was recovered lifeless.
