It's confirmed about Gavi, Barça have already made it official: 'It's the best'

The midfielder is facing a delicate situation, and the club has had to issue a statement

Barça have started the season well and several footballers are earning the spotlight thanks to their strong performances. Gavi returned late last season due to the torn cruciate ligament he suffered with the National Team. Even so, little by little he gained confidence and had already returned to Hansi Flick's line-up.

The coach has managed to bring Barça back to the top of European soccer thanks to his adjustments. Great talents like Lamine Yamal or Pau Cubarsí have broken out, but the entire squad is performing well. Unfortunately, Gavi, one of the most beloved, is once again in trouble due to an unpleasant situation.

Gavi's situation

Gavi hasn't had it easy at all and has had to go through one of the worst injuries in soccer. Over a year ago, he tore his cruciate ligament and since then he has fought to return. After a recent physical problem, Barça have spoken publicly about the midfielder's health.

Barça have issued the following medical report on Gavi and his knee problem: "First team player Pablo Páez Gavira (Gavi) underwent intense sports stress tests yesterday after completing conservative treatment for a radial tear of the medial meniscus in his right knee. The conclusions are that, to ensure the best recovery and return to competitive dynamics, Gavi will undergo an arthroscopic review tomorrow by Dr. Joan Carles Monllau, under the supervision of the Club's Medical Services. Once the procedure is completed, a new medical statement will be issued."

In light of this situation, the fans can breathe easy, since it has been shown that it's not a truly serious injury and that he'll be ready soon. Even so, obviously, it's never good news that a footballer has to undergo surgery. The midfielder will have to look after himself and recover in the best way possible.

Barça and their situation without Gavi

Gavi is an important piece for Hansi Flick and he'll be awaited as long as necessary, but it seems it won't be long. The operation he faces is minimally invasive and he shouldn't be away from the field for long. In any case, nothing can be confirmed yet and we'll have to keep a close eye on the Spaniard so we don't miss any updates.
