After a trophyless season, Real Madrid has to step up to secure a great upcoming campaign

Hansi Flick's first season at Barça is not going unnoticed. The Catalans have shown they have no rival. If they have problems in defense, they fix it with the attack.

The Clásico has been a sports spectacle with a happy ending for the German coach's team. Coming back from 0-2 to turn it into a 4-3 that could have been a 5-3. The goal that would have meant a "little hand" would have been apotheosic because it came in the last breath, but Hernández Hernández annulled it.

The Whites Get the Short End of the Stick

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti's team has hit rock bottom. The Italian coach will not lift any trophy this season, and there is talk, now more than ever, of his more than possible departure from Real Madrid. Florentino Pérez would not allow the same coach to continue in a season without winning anything, so he has already started working fully on the matter.

That's why a hectic summer is expected in Valdebebas. The renowned Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, an expert in signings, has announced news. The signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold is already closed, but it will not be the only one they announce.

Apparently, Fabrizio Romano has already intoned his famous Here we go, this time for the bench. There is already confirmation that Xabi Alonso will be the next coach of Real Madrid. The coach would sign until 2028 and take charge of Real Madrid before the Club World Cup.

Xabi Alonso, Excellent

After retiring from soccer as a player, the Basque started coaching. He first did so as a coach in Real Madrid's youth academy in the 18/19 season. From Madrid, he returned to San Sebastián in 2019 to coach Real Sociedad B, and in 2021 he achieved promotion to the Second Division.

The former Liverpool and Real Madrid player was taking on responsibilities and developing technique, pressure soccer, and knowing how to trust young players. He was making a name for himself on the benches.

Xabi Alonso's big leap as a coach was in 2022 when he arrived in Leverkusen. He joined a club in crisis and turned it into one of the most competitive in Germany. Bayer Leverkusen won the Bundesliga undefeated, and Xabi led them to the finals of the DFB Pokal and the Europa League.

Now, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, Xabi Alonso has a new challenge ahead. He will be the next coach of Real Madrid, at least until 2028.
