After the latest setbacks that have occurred within the British royal family, a few days ago, the best news was announced: the arrival of a baby to Charles III's family. This is a situation that Queen Camilla still can't believe.
During the past few weeks, the secret meeting between the monarch's representatives and his son, Prince Harry, has completely captured the attention of global media. Among other things, because of Prince William's refusal to initiate a rapprochement with his brother.

However, despite this delicate family situation, now the family of King Charles III and Queen Camilla has something to celebrate: the arrival of their new member.
As was confirmed last July 28, the Duke of Westminster, Hugh Grosvenor, and his wife, Olivia Henson, are now parents. The couple welcomed their first daughter together, a girl born over the past weekend.

In the days that followed, more details about the little girl have emerged, including the name her parents have chosen. Through an official statement, King Charles III's relatives announced that the chosen name is Cosima Florence Grosvenor.
The cousin of King Charles III and Queen Camilla officially announces the birth of his first daughter
The announcement was made this Sunday, July 27, just hours after little Cosima's birth in London. "The Duke and Duchess are thrilled to announce the birth of their first daughter," began the statement released by the royal family.
"They have named her Cosima Florence Grosvenor and she was born in London today, July 27," the statement added, concluding: "Both are doing well. The Duke and Duchess now look forward to spending this special time as a family."

The name Cosima has a symbolic and delicate background. With Greek and Italian roots, it comes from the term kosmos, which can be translated as "order," "universe," or "cosmic beauty." Thus, Cosima conveys ideas of harmony, balance, and universal aesthetics.
The relationship of the Duke and Duchess of Westminster was solidified with a wedding held at Chester Cathedral last June 7, 2024. There, before their 400 guests, they said "I do" in a ceremony that was considered one of the most prominent events of British high society in recent years.
It was last March when the cousin of King Charles III and his wife officially announced that they were expecting their first child. They did so through their corresponding statement:
"The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are delighted to announce that the Duchess is expecting a baby for the summer. The couple are delighted with the news and are very much looking forward to starting a family together."
