On more than one occasion, George Clooney hasn't hesitated to publicly reveal one of the most important decisions he's made regarding his seven-year-old son, Alexander. These statements have undoubtedly been highly praised.
It's no secret that twins Alexander and Ella hold a central place in the lives of this well-known Hollywood actor and his wife, Amal Clooney. That's why, since their birth, they made a firm decision: to keep them away from public scrutiny, at least until they're old enough.

On more than one occasion, George Clooney has expressed his rejection of his children being chased by paparazzi in public spaces. "I don't want photos of my children."
"I don't want to expose my children to any kind of risk. We deal with very serious issues, with very serious bad guys, and we don't want photos of our children out there," he has stated in various interviews.
George Clooney and his wife have decided to protect Alexander and Ella from media pressure
Despite the couple's reservations, George Clooney has shared some information about his children in different interviews. According to him, Ella has many similarities with Amal, while Alexander has inherited his personality.
Since the little ones were born in June 2017, there's no doubt that the lives of the actor and his wife have experienced a U-turn. This is something the actor revealed during one of his interviews on Good Morning America.

At that time, George Clooney spoke about what it's like to raise two twins who have completely opposite personalities, despite having received the same upbringing.
"When you raise twins, in the same way and at the same time, and they turn out to be completely different, you realize how little you influence who they are," the actor said.
At 64 years old, George Clooney acknowledged that keeping up with his children can be quite a challenge. "The hard part is being 60 years old and all the running that comes with it," he commented with humor. However, he made it very clear that his children bring him immense joy and that he tries to spend as much time with them as possible.

On another occasion, during his appearance on the podcast WTF with Marc Maron, the actor spoke openly about Alexander's personality. According to what he himself revealed, he's a child with a great personality and a strong sense of humor.
What's more, George Clooney stated that his son makes him laugh every morning with a funny introduction: "It's me, Alexander Clooney." Despite these moments, Amal's husband considers it essential to teach his children certain values and self-control.
On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the actor revealed that Alexander participates in chess tournaments. Although he doesn't always win, those experiences serve as learning opportunities.
As George Clooney explained, these episodes are ideal for teaching his son the value of effort, courtesy, and resilience. "I told him: 'Listen, you shake the boy's hand and say: good game, next time I'll beat you,'" the actor said.
