A person who for years belonged to Charles III's inner circle has revealed unexpected information about him that, in turn, has left Queen Camilla speechless. During an interview, a former palace employee disclosed an unusual habit of the monarch.

There is no doubt that, since King Charles III took the throne in 2022 after the death of Elizabeth II, his duties as monarch have increased significantly.

However, despite this heavy institutional burden, Queen Camilla's husband has kept a personal routine that has not gone unnoticed at all. It is a peculiar custom that has caught the attention of one of his former employees, who recently shared it publicly.

During his appearance on the British program Cambridgeshire Live, Jack Stooks revealed details about his experience working for the sovereign. This individual was part of the royal gardening staff for more than two decades.

So much so that all these years serving the Crown have allowed him to get to know Charles III perfectly. Now, he has not hesitated to share with the rest of the British people what one of the monarch's favorite hobbies is.

According to his account, what most caught his attention was Charles III's constant interest in gardening. A passion that, according to him, even surpassed other more important responsibilities.

Although at first glance it may seem like just another hobby, the former employee was struck by the fact that he devoted much of his free time to supervising every corner of the gardens:

"He was very focused all the time. If he arrived home on the weekend, he was in the garden checking what had been done and what hadn't," Jack Stooks said candidly.

Charles III's interest in plants is not new information, but to the former gardener it seems strange and unusual in someone with so many state obligations.

Stooks is aware of all this information because, throughout his career within the royal family, he worked at one of the monarch's favorite residences: Highgrove House and Gardens.

According to Daily Mail, this property located in Gloucestershire was acquired by Queen Camilla's husband in 1980, precisely because of the appeal of its unbelievable and vast gardens.

In addition to being a place where he cultivates his passion for gardening, it is also one of his personal retreats. There, Charles III usually rests in the company of Queen Consort Camilla, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings.
