The gesture by Queen Letizia that France couldn't ignore

The latest appearance of Queen Letizia in Seville has sparked a true flood of reactions in both national and international media. The consort drew all eyes during the international summit held this week in the Andalusian capital.

After the NATO summit, Spain's royals welcomed representatives of international organizations and political leaders at the Real Alcázar of Seville. It was a setting full of history, ideal for a top-level institutional evening.

Letizia conquers the international press

Despite the political weight of the event, it was the queen who once again captured all the attention for her style and presence. Letizia excelled in a Carolina Herrera design already known, which she wore for the first time in 2019 during an official visit to Argentina.

The dress, sleeveless, with a V-neckline and raised golden floral embroidery, stood out for its elegance. Fitted at the torso and with a flared skirt, the design highlighted her figure without being excessive.

The decision to reuse a dress was celebrated by fashion experts. Letizia once again showed that sustainability and sophistication can go hand in hand. It was an impeccable choice that did not go unnoticed in the international press.

The French magazine Paris Match quickly surrendered to the queen. They dedicated a full article to her with a striking headline: "Golden Letizia: chic evening at the Alcázar on Felipe's arm."

The German magazine Bunte also praised her style. "From another planet," they headlined in reference to Letizia's figure. They highlighted how the fitted cut of the dress enhanced her silhouette and how her image conveys strength and elegance.

Doña Letizia's role as an international style icon is already more than consolidated. Her public appearances spark interest both inside and outside our borders, showing that she knows perfectly the dress codes for every occasion.

Letizia's smart look to beat the Seville heat

The institutional agenda in Seville did not end with that gala night. The next day, the royals presided over another official event, this time at the city's Conference and Exhibition Center. There, the formal opening of the IV International Conference on Financing for Development took place.

Letizia once again got it right with a more informal yet equally elegant look. She opted for a printed midi skirt paired with a light-colored, flowing blouse. It was a fresh and appropriate outfit for the heat wave affecting southern Spain these days.

The style was also interpreted as a nod to local fashion. As often happens, it was soon analyzed on trend websites and social media. Many described it as an "inspiring" look for daytime events.

Queen Letizia's real salary, revealed

In parallel with these commitments, the Royal Household published the budgets allocated for the 2025 fiscal year. The total amounts to €8,431,150, a figure similar to that of the previous year. The publication of these figures aims to reinforce the institution's transparency.

Felipe continues to be the member of the Royal Family with the highest financial allocation. He will receive €277,361 per year, as reflected in the official data. Doña Letizia will receive €152,539, while the emeritus queen, Doña Sofía, will get €124,814.

Neither Princess Leonor nor Infanta Sofía will have an allocation. This decision responds to the express wish of the royals not to include them in the budgets until they begin to perform official duties on a permanent basis. For now, all their expenses are covered by their parents.

This policy has been positively valued by much of public opinion. It marks a line of budgetary restraint in tune with today's society. Meanwhile, it reinforces the image of responsibility and commitment of the Crown.

In this context, Letizia has become a key figure both institutionally and symbolically. Her presence in Seville has been the best reflection of her role as an ambassador of elegance, diplomacy, and modernity. She is an example of how a queen can set trends without losing the rigor her position demands.
