Meghan shared these reflections during a conversation on the Aspire With Emma Grede podcast on June 17. In an interview focused on her brand As Ever, the Duchess was asked how she addresses the topic of money with her children.

Her response was surprising. "Sometimes we set up a little stand at the farmers market," Meghan explained. In response, the host joked that it was the "perfect American culture of Montecito."

Meghan went on to detail her approach regarding teaching values to her children. "We grow a lot of vegetables and part of what I want them to learn is that gardening is really great for kids."

"It teaches them patience, it teaches them to value and appreciate their food," she said. The Duchess added that with these kinds of activities, like growing their own food, her children begin to understand that everything has a price.

"You start with the seed and you watch it grow, and they wait. But with that, the question is: 'Do you want to sell your harvest? Do you want to share it with our community?' Also, 'What do you want to do with those funds once you have them?'" she commented.

Meghan Markle hasn't hesitated to talk about Archie and Lilibet

Meghan emphasized the importance of children understanding the concept of value. Especially those who, like Lilibet and Archie, grow up in a privileged home. "It's necessary to know that, just like good manners and taking care of the things around us, everything has value."

Meghan's view on parenting is shared by Harry, who also believes in the importance of teaching their children the value of what they have. "In our life, for my husband and me, it's essential that they understand the value of things," Meghan added.

Moreover, this isn't the first time the Duchess has mentioned her children in her interviews. In a recent conversation with Tina Knowles, Beyoncé's mother, Meghan reflected on the possibility of someday starting a business with her daughter Lilibet.

"I wonder if someday I'll do business with Lili and we'll build something," Meghan Markle commented. Tina Knowles, enthusiastic, gladly supported the idea of a mother-daughter collaboration.
