That gesture has taken its toll on her: "Even at that moment, I felt an unusual pull in my spine, lower back area, but I didn't want to pay any attention."
As the days went by, the pain increased. "The pain kept getting worse," she admitted. An MRI confirmed her suspicions.
"Acute compression fracture of the upper vertebral platform," she detailed. Since then, Mercedes has undergone advanced treatment to repair the injury. "Only painkillers relieved my poor vertebra," she wrote humorously.
