Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía have chosen to pause their official commitments. Together with their mother, Queen Letizia, they've decided to take an unexpected getaway. This surprising decision will undoubtedly mark a turning point in their summer.
As has come to light, a few days ago, Queen Letizia organized a secret plan with her two daughters. It was a getaway that took place just before starting with the intense schedule the royals are facing due to the UN summit. This event was held a few days ago in Seville.

Additionally, as has been confirmed, Leonor and Infanta Sofía's latest trip was exclusively for women and didn't include Felipe. It's been a long time since mother and daughters have been able to spend time together.
However, although the Infanta is already on vacation after her graduation, for the future queen of Spain, this family gathering happened at a key moment for her.
Princess Leonor is about to embark again on the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano. Along with her classmates, she will complete the last stretch of the training cruise that will go from Gijón to Marín, stopping in Ferrol. This trip will conclude on July 13.

Journalist Alejandro Entrambasaguas discussed all the latest news about Infanta Sofía on the show Fiesta. Immediately afterward, he also revealed the details of this discreet getaway organized by Queen Letizia.
According to the journalist, the monarch took advantage of Princess Leonor's return, after her stay on Elcano and a trip to the United States, to "clear her schedule for three days." All to "organize a secret plan with her two daughters."

"They went to get some massages, we can't reveal the exact location because they go there very often. But it's a secret plan of their mother with her daughters," the contributor commented.
It was at this moment that Emma García asked him if it was in Spain, to which Alejandro Entrambasaguas replied with a resounding "yes." At that moment, he assured that it was "relatively close" to Madrid, but he didn't want to give more details.
However, journalist Paloma Barrientos had no qualms about confirming that Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía's getaway took place on the Mediterranean coast. Meanwhile, Juan Luis Galiacho added that it's a very well-known place.

After listening to her colleagues' information, Nieves Herrero also wanted to speak. She explained that "they had to make the most of[those days]because the royals are starting an incredibly busy week of events."
"This Monday they are opening this conference where they're going to decide what money goes to one place and to another... But they are the best ambassadors. There are so many countries, we're talking about 35 heads of state, 12 heads of government, 30 representatives from all over."
