The Royal House reveals the true condition of Charles III: Prince Harry didn't know it

A member of the monarch's closest circle has shared key information about the true state of his health

While many expected King Charles III to take on a more discreet profile after the announcement of his illness, the monarch has chosen to do exactly the opposite. Having just landed from an official tour of Canada with Queen Camilla, the British sovereign has given a forceful show that he's still fully committed.

It was in February 2024 when Buckingham Palace informed the world that the King was suffering from cancer. Since then, his health has been a subject of attention and speculation both in the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. However, according to sources close to the monarch, his progress is positive.

The royal household confesses the true state of Charles III

One of the royal aides who accompanied him during his recent transoceanic trip has offered revealing details about how the sovereign is really doing. "He's living his life as normally as possible, and he's doing what the doctors tell him," he assured.

Although he continues with the treatment, neither Camilla nor his team have managed to persuade him to slow down. "It's no secret that he's still in treatment, but since he's in unbelievable physical shape, he's handling everything wonderfully. As everyone knows, duty drives him, so he simply keeps going," the same source confesses.

During his stay in Ottawa, Charles III delivered a 26-minute speech, alternating between English and French, during the state opening ceremony of Parliament. Visibly moved by the warmth of the Canadian citizens' welcome, the monarch showed no signs of weakness or fatigue.

"What one learns about this illness is that it simply gets managed. That's what he does. Medical science has made unbelievable advances and honestly I don't see any difference in him," the senior royal official revealed.

Charles III and Prince Harry are more distant than ever

With the arrival of summer, the Royal Household faces an intense season of events. Despite efforts to reduce his schedule, his presence is expected at several major events. Some of these are the Trooping the Colour parade, Garter Day, Royal Ascot, and a visit from French President Emmanuel Macron.

Charles III has made it clear that, although cancer is part of his life, it's not going to stop him from continuing to fulfill his responsibility as head of state. The Royal Household, for now, confirms that King Charles III continues "as normal as possible," with his focus on duty.

Charles III's determination contrasts with the personal distance he keeps with his younger son, Prince Harry. Although the king's health has been a matter of public concern, there are no signs of a real rapprochement between them. Meanwhile, the monarch keeps moving forward, his relationship with Harry remains frozen.
