It's today: King Felipe, without the royal family and with an important message for Spain

The royal family has left a very necessary official day for the country's future in King Felipe's hands

In a matter of a few hours, King Felipe will begin a new day in his official schedule away from the royal family. This time, the King will receive a delegation from ICEX Spain Export and Investment, assisted by Garrigues. The audience will take place at Zarzuela, the usual institutional headquarters where the King attends to economic and diplomatic activities, located next to Madrid's Monte del Pardo.

From there, without the company of other members of the royal family, King Felipe will send an important message to Spain. In these moments of economic uncertainty with the United States, this audience celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first edition of the Business Guide in Spain. In addition to commemorating the publication, they will present a new special edition of the document, which will include a foreword personally written by the King himself.

King Felipe moves away from the royal family to send a clear message

Today, the royal family has let King Felipe be the one to receive at Zarzuela a key delegation for Spain. After attending the opening of the NATO summit in Seville, now the King has another unmissable appointment ahead.

At around 10:30 a.m., the doors of Zarzuela will open to give audience to a delegation from ICEX Spain Export and Investment. There will also be representatives from the Garrigues law firm and two ambassadors from the main investors in Spain.

Just as the United States threatens to complicate Spain's economy for not accepting the 5% military spending, King Felipe reacts. With this audience, he sends an important message to our country by strengthening alliances with two of the countries that invest the most in Spain.

Additionally, this meeting also commemorates the 40th anniversary of the publication of the Business Guide in Spain. This guide has been key for international investors interested in the country. Garrigues represents the international firm that offers the most legal and tax services, advising companies to succeed in their businesses.

King Felipe will receive some of their representatives to discuss with them how to improve the internationalization of Spanish companies. He will also discuss the importance of attracting foreign investment to Spain.

After this meeting with an economic focus, the King will receive members of the Royal Academy of History and the Deputation of Grandees. These two institutions have collaborated on a commemorative book titled Felipe VI. Profiles of a Decade, about the ten years of King Felipe's reign.

The book includes articles by historians, chroniclers, and nobility experts who wanted to highlight the main institutional milestones of this decade of Spanish parliamentary monarchy. During the audience, the book will be officially presented to King Felipe, accompanied by words of institutional recognition for his role as head of state.

Next, he will keep a third audience with young people selected in the Becas Europa program, promoted by Francisco de Vitoria University and Banco Santander. These high-achieving university students have been chosen for their academic talent and leadership, representing a new generation committed to the country's future.

Felipe usually dedicates time and attention to young people, and this meeting reflects his commitment to education, excellence, and personal development.

These three audiences, focused on foreign investment, national history, and university education, will complete the public part of his schedule for today, Tuesday. Thus, the royal family leaves in Felipe's hands the most institutional and formal part of the official agenda of the royal household.
