Goodbye Krispy Kreme: Dunkin Donuts has already delivered the most anticipated news in the U.S.

An innovative proposal from Dunkin Donuts calls into question the reign of other iconic chains such as Krispy Kreme

Although some people say they're not breakfast fans, few can resist a quick stop before work. It's common to see people arriving at the office with a takeout bag in hand. Fast food breakfast has become a daily habit for many.

Now, one of the country's most popular chains has just released news that could change the landscape. Dunkin' Donuts has revealed what's in its desired summer 2025 menu and, with it, new items that haven't gone unnoticed. From savory options to patriotic sweets, the announcement has pushed competitors like Krispy Kreme into the background.

Dunkin' Donuts offers breakfasts with more flavor and options for everyone

The new menu brings a major commitment. Dunkin' Donuts has added a new version of its classic Wake-Up Wrap: now with hash browns and chipotle sauce. This option, called Chipotle Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap, is presented as a tastier alternative to the traditional Bacon Egg & Cheese.

But that's not all. Starting June 25, locations will also offer two pastry products: the Braided Apple Pie and the Ham & Cheese Croissant Stuffer. These two additions are aimed directly at customers who prefer something sweet or savory in the morning.

Additionally, those who use the Dunkin' app will have an exclusive option: a bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, and chipotle aioli. The brand has found a way to reward the loyalty of its most devoted followers, according to the Instagram account @markie_devo.

New promotions and a very patriotic spirit

The well-known $5 Meal Deal promotion is also returning this summer. It includes a coffee (hot or iced) and two Wake-Up Wraps, and will be available at all participating locations through August 19. This change seeks to adapt to consumer feedback after a mixed response to the previous winter menu.

Along with these offers, Dunkin' wanted to celebrate July 4 with a special line. The Spangled Donut, filled with vanilla cream and topped with blue icing and themed sprinkles, will be one of the season's highlights. Added to this are the 4th of July Takeover Donuts, three patriotic varieties that will be sold from June 25 to July 22.

Finally, to complete the summer atmosphere, the Summer Beach Munchkins Bucket is back, also available through August 19. These buckets filled with mini donuts are a hit every year and, as always, will be available while supplies last.

With this new proposal, Dunkin' is taking a firm step to lead breakfasts in the United States. Its strategy of renewing itself without losing its essence seems, once again, to be a complete success. Meanwhile, its competitors will have to work harder if they don't want to fall behind in this race to win the mornings.
