After months of rumors, tests, and expectations, the announcement that millions of users had been waiting for has finally arrived. A technological improvement that will change the way many Americans communicate, especially in the most remote areas of the country. T-Mobile has taken a step forward that has surprised both insiders and outsiders, and customers are already enthusiastically enjoying this new feature.
The phone company has confirmed that its desired T-Satellite service, powered by Starlink technology, has left its beta phase behind. It is now officially available. This new feature allows users to send text messages and make emergency calls even in places where there is no traditional mobile coverage.
This is a significant breakthrough for those who live or frequently travel in rural, mountainous, or remote areas of the United States.

T-Mobile will make it easy for many users
According to the announcement made by T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert, the T-Satellite service is already active in the continental United States, in addition to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and parts of southern Alaska. One of its most notable features is that it works using Starlink's low-Earth orbit satellite constellation, which acts as mobile towers in space.
This way, users can stay connected even when there are no cellular networks nearby. Currently, more than 60 mobile phones are compatible with this technology, and of these, 41 models belong to Samsung's Galaxy line.
If you have one of these devices and live in the United States, you can already use this service without worrying about the lack of coverage. The list includes models as varied as the Galaxy A14, the S24 Ultra, the Z Flip 6, or the Z Fold 7, to name a few.

During the testing phase, more than 2 million people participated in the T-Satellite experience. More than 30,000 users connected daily. The company reported extremely high activity of sent messages, proving customers' real interest in a reliable connectivity solution.
The service is included in the Experience Beyond and Go5G plans. It is also available for those who participated in the beta from the Experience Go plan. For active T-Mobile customers, it costs only $10 per month.
Even those who are not part of T-Mobile's network can sign up for T-Satellite at the same price, at least for a limited time. When the satellite service is active, the user will see a SAT icon in the status bar of their phone. Although there may be brief interruptions due to the movement of the satellites, the system tries to resend messages automatically until they are delivered.
