This is the new thing from Walmart that's taking over: it's just like at Chick-fil-A

Walmart introduces a new feature that's making a big impact among fast food consumers

There are products that go viral because they manage to replicate the taste of very beloved brands, and Walmart has just launched one that's causing a sensation. In the United States, Chick-fil-A is one of the most popular fast food chains, but it's not always easy to find one of their locations. That's why this new product from Walmart arrives at just the right time for those who miss those flavors without having to take a long trip.

The store has introduced a new line of frozen foods called Bettergoods, which includes several products inspired by famous fast food chains. Among them, a package of chicken nuggets stands out that are almost identical to Chick-fil-A's. This launch promises an affordable and practical alternative to enjoy at home.

Bettergoods: The affordable alternative everyone wants to try

Bettergoods is Walmart's private label that began selling in fall 2024 with more than 350 products in 57 categories. Its goal is to offer premium quality frozen foods, snacks, and other products that mimic popular flavors. The line features several imitations, such as a chicken sandwich reminiscent of KFC, and now has added the "Lightly Breaded White Meat Chicken Bites."

These frozen chicken nuggets are made from white breast meat and are lightly breaded to achieve a crispy touch very similar to Chick-fil-A's, according to All Recipes. They can be eaten alone or with any sauce, just like at the restaurant. Consumers who've tried them highlight how juicy the chicken is and the texture that closely resembles the original nuggets.

A cheaper option with good flavor

An order of five Chick-fil-A nuggets weighs about 3 oz. (85 g), the same as a serving of Walmart's nuggets. Buying 40 nuggets at Chick-fil-A costs about 33.45 euros, including two five-piece packs and one 30-piece pack. In comparison, a Bettergoods bag of 24 oz. (680 g) has eight servings and its price is around 8.46 euros in stores.

This means that each serving of Walmart's nuggets costs just over one euro (1.06 USD), compared to the 4.18 euros that a serving costs at Chick-fil-A. The price difference is considerable, almost a quarter of the original cost. That's why many customers are rushing to Walmart to try this alternative and take advantage of the low prices.

In addition, Walmart isn't stopping with just the nuggets. Its imitation of McDonald's fries and Raising Cane's-style sauce are also gaining popularity, all available at much more affordable prices. This way, you can recreate a complete meal similar to Chick-fil-A's without leaving home or spending as much.
