After his last public appearance, one of the most desired news about Prince George has been confirmed. As it has emerged, Kate Middleton and Prince William have already begun to prepare their eldest son for his future role as King of England.

Since his birth, the young heir occupies the second place in the line of succession to the throne. Although he is still a child, he has started to gradually assume a much more public position. Proof of this is what happened on May 8, during the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.

On that day, Prince George accompanied his parents to a very special tea party held at Buckingham Palace. An event that brought together war veterans and was considered a key moment in his development as a public figure.

At that reception, organized by Charles III and Queen Camilla, he had the opportunity to meet and talk with some of the veterans who fought in World War II. Among them was Alfred, a 101-year-old man who participated in D-Day.

During the meeting, Prince George asked Alfred how his arrival at the war was. At that moment, Kate Middleton's son received an honest and moving response: "Pretty horrible."

After a brief conversation, the veteran took the opportunity to share a deep reflection with the young man: "You know, it's very important that you're here today. We should take advantage of days like this to talk about these things, so that new generations can understand them."

Experts confirm that Kate Middleton and her husband have started to prepare Prince George, but "without pressure"

According to several experts in the Royal Household, the decision to include Prince George in such an important event as this was carefully planned by Kate Middleton and her husband. All in an attempt to further integrate their children into public life.

"This is probably the last major event where there will be veterans who served in World War II, so it will be recorded in his memory that he met people who fought, and it will give him a connection with them," Robert Jobson explained to Hello! magazine.

On the other hand, Jobson also highlighted that Prince George's participation in this event was a great "success." He also noted that "meeting and talking" with veterans must have been a crucial moment for the young man.

Unlike his siblings Charlotte and Louis, George will grow up under greater scrutiny due to his destiny as the future King of England. That's why Prince William and Kate Middleton are making every effort to teach him what his role within the institution is, but with care not to "overwhelm" the young man.
