The Norwegian royal family in shock over Marius Borg's latest: little time left

A documentary in podcast format comes to light revealing what happened at Marius Borg's parties

After months in the spotlight due to Marius Borg's scandals, a documentary about the young man has just come to light. This audiovisual production has caused a great shock within the Norwegian Royal Family. So much so that they have had no choice but to speak out about it.

It was in August when the eldest son of Princess Mette-Marit of Norway was arrested and investigated for alleged assault on several women. Since then, there has been constant speculation about the young man's questionable behavior.

But now new information about Marius Borg has come to light, putting the entire Norwegian Royal Family in check. So much so that the crown princes have had no choice but to make an official statement.

As it has emerged, the podcast-format documentary, titled Kompisen til Marius (Marius's Friend), has finally seen the light. In it, a friend of Borg has made a series of statements, revealing everything that has happened within Marius's closest circle over the past year.

It should be remembered that, in recent months, several Norwegian media outlets have reported on the parties organized by Marius Borg both in Skaugum and in his own apartment.

These gatherings would have led to the disappearance of valuable items, and as a result, the princes decided to ban the young man from their residence.

As expected, all this information about Marius Borg has put the entire Norwegian Royal Family on alert. So much so that, following these new revelations, a statement has been issued to deny several of the accusations that have been spread.

The person in charge of acting as spokesperson for the crown princes has been Guri Ofstad Varpe, the Palace's communications director. "We have not been able to discover that anything of great value has been stolen from Skaugum, as stated in several articles," he assured the media outlet VG via email.

These statements coincide with what Marius Borg's friend said in the podcast, where he categorically denies some of the most scandalous aspects of this controversy:

"All of that can be dismissed at once. First of all, there have been no Hells Angels members there. And no cutlery has been stolen."

Another accusation that the Norwegian Royal Family has denied is the alleged sale of stolen items at auction houses. Some media reported that the alleged thieves had attempted to sell pieces belonging to the princes in such establishments.

However, from the palace, they assure that they have not been "contacted by any auction house regarding this." "We also have no knowledge of Hells Angels members being invited," they add.

Despite the denials, Marius Borg's friend does acknowledge that parties were organized at the Skaugum residence. Additionally, the young man believes that Princess Mette-Marit's son has been "a bit careless" with the people he invited to these gatherings.

Meanwhile, the editor-in-chief of Se og Hør, Ulf Andre Andersen, has assured that they have documentation supporting their articles. According to him, they possess sensitive material that should never have left the private domain of the princes:

"We have published several videos from inside the private apartment of the crown prince couple, showing that there has been free access to people who should never have been in Skaugum."
