Last Sunday, May 11, Shakira and Gerard Piqué's two children released The One, their first song, which they perform alongside another girl named Mila V.

"Shakira says that she handles the education issue and that there's no bad blood, because it's also a school thing.[...]Additionally, she has postponed her concert in North Carolina to be at the presentation. And she prioritizes, I've been told, her children over her career."

On the other hand, Lorena Vázquez stated that Gerard Piqué "doesn't want to comment on this specific matter." However, she made it very clear that what the athlete's circle tells her "is that he's not upset at all with his children's appearance in this music video."

"He knows it was the children's dream and a request they had made, and when they're with Shakira, she's the one who makes those decisions. I don't know if he would have liked to know beforehand. There was no consent, that's for sure, but he's not upset at all," she added.
