Prince William has been completely shocked after learning about the new information that will come to light in the coming months related to his mother, Princess Diana. According to reports, British journalist Andy Webb is willing to expose the whole truth about Lady Di.

Almost thirty years have passed since Diana of Wales gave her historic interview to the BBC's Panorama program. A testimony that marked a turning point in the public image of the British royalty.

In that television appearance, the mother of Prince William shared intimate details of her marriage and family life. Statements that precipitated her divorce and caused a severe popularity crisis within the House of Windsor.

However, what Lady Di never knew was that, to obtain her statements, the BBC and journalist Martin Bashir resorted to deceptive practices.

Now this episode, which was investigated for years, has regained relevance thanks to a new investigative work that promises to reveal unprecedented details. Information that has surely left Prince William speechless.

According to reports, during the upcoming month of November, an investigative book will be published that declassifies previously hidden files about the case. It reveals how decisions were made around this episode of journalistic malpractice, as well as the cover-ups that followed.

Additionally, this investigative work includes testimony from key figures, including Diana's brother and her private secretary, which adds weight and credibility to the account.

Journalist Andy Webb has managed to access thousands of BBC documents after a long legal battle. Using the Freedom of Information Act, he argued that the case was of public interest and that citizens had the right to know the truth.

Despite the BBC's opposition, which claimed that some emails contained sensitive information, the judge ruled in favor of the journalist and ordered the release of more than 3,000 emails.

Thanks to all this unpublished documentation and the collected testimonies, Andy Webb will publish Dianarama on November 20. The book promises to offer a detailed reconstruction of how Lady Di's famous interview was obtained and how the scandal evolved to reach the courts almost three decades later.

Meanwhile, the work will also address the role played by journalist Martin Bashir and the actions of the British public broadcaster over time. Something explained by Penguin Books, the publisher responsible for releasing the book:

"The action spans thirty years, from the moment BBC journalist Martin Bashir devised his dossier of falsified bank statements in 1995 to the 2024 trial." The year in which "Webb faced the BBC's elite legal team to demand the release of 10,000 pages of highly controversial documents related to the scandal."

However, Dianarama is not limited to documenting the techniques used by Bashir, such as the creation of fake documents that undermined Lady Di's trust in her surroundings. It also analyzes how the BBC covered up what happened and the impact this had on the princess's emotional and mental health.

This aspect was especially addressed by her two sons, who at the time publicly denounced what happened. In 2021, following the publication of an independent investigation led by Lord Dyson, Prince William was particularly harsh with the BBC.

"It brings me indescribable sadness to know that the BBC's failures contributed significantly to the fear, paranoia, and isolation that I remember from those last years with her."
