Since she left behind her time as an actress in Suits and gave up her royal duties, Meghan Markle has tried to build a new public image. Beyond her role as Duchess of Sussex, she has wanted to present herself as a businesswoman, producer, and lifestyle influencer.
However, her attempts to establish herself in the entertainment world aren't having the desired impact. In fact, in terms of audience, her projects have caused more doubts than excitement from the public.

Cold shower for Meghan Markle and her family
Her latest project with Netflix, the series With Love, Meghan, has just premiered its second season. But far from being a success, the production has gone practically unnoticed by the public.
The series isn't among the most-watched English-language titles on the platform during its premiere week. This has set off all the alarms. The weekly list of the ten most popular series was led by My Life With the Walter Boys.
Indomitable ranked tenth, with 2.1 million. This means that the second season of Meghan Markle's show didn't even reach that minimum figure to enter the ranking.

Meghan Markle's show hasn't convinced the audience
The first season, released in March, had a modest debut. It barely reached 2.6 million views in its first week and quickly disappeared from the top 10. In total, it closed the quarter with 5.3 million views.
Netflix signed a $100 million deal with Meghan and Prince Harry in 2020. But except for the documentary Harry and Meghan, the rest of the couple's projects have produced mediocre results.
With Love, Meghan was promoted as her return to the entertainment world, though with a new approach. No longer as an actress, but as a kind of lifestyle guru. However, critics weren't kind.

It was pointed out that everything seemed forced and unnatural, from her interactions to the set, which was made to look like her home. Now it remains to be seen whether the series will manage to recover or if it will head toward inevitable cancellation.
The couple, who sought to build a new identity far from the royal family, now face a greater challenge. In such a competitive market as entertainment, public attention isn't won by name alone.
