Luisi's new life: the wife of Karlos Arguiñano who has overcome an ordeal

Despite how much they have suffered in the past, Karlos Arguiñano and his wife now lead a peaceful, family-oriented life

Following an interview with Karlos Arguiñano, one of the tragedies that his wife, Luisi Ameztoy, suffered some time ago has resurfaced. This torment, it seems, is now a thing of the past.

To mark its 30th anniversary, supermarket chain Lidl organized an event in Madrid to analyze its socioeconomic impact. The event also featured a gastronomic experience led by Karlos Arguiñano and his son Joseba.

During this celebration, Lecturas magazine took the opportunity to ask the chefs a series of questions, including "how do you celebrate the most special dates at home."

"Family and gastronomic gatherings at home. Now, with so many grandchildren, lots of games and noise," Karlos Arguiñano said. In addition, Luisi Ameztoy's husband confirmed that, fortunately, he gets together with his children and grandchildren very often.

"Fortunately, all my children and grandchildren live in Zarautz, and when there's good food, it's not difficult. Any given Sunday, about twenty of us usually get together," the Basque chef confessed with a laugh.

Now, as a result of these very family-oriented statements, his wife Luisi Ameztoy has once again become the center of attention. All this comes after details have emerged about what her life is like now after overcoming one of the most tormenting moments of her life.

Throughout their marriage, Karlos Arguiñano and Luisi Ameztoy have had to face several difficult moments. One of the hardest episodes they experienced together was the loss of two of their children. This tragedy marked a turning point in their lives.

At that time, the couple was going through a complicated financial situation. Everything took a turn for the worse when, while trying to move forward, Luisi suffered two miscarriages at seven months of pregnancy.

"The first two died, at seven months both children died. Seven months and they were born dead," Karlos Arguiñano confessed in one of his interviews on El Hormiguero.

Meanwhile, the chef had no qualms about sharing with viewers how Luisi Ameztoy experienced this very difficult time in their lives: "My wife cried and cried, with good reason. I encouraged her: 'Don't worry, you have a great husband, we're going to try this as many times as it takes.'"

Fortunately, life began to smile on them and, as a result of that effort, they managed to build a large family. "Then another six came along and one that I adopted, so now there are seven of us," Karlos Arguiñano said that day.

"All of them are in relationships, all with children except my daughter, who has a partner but they don't have children," he added. Luisi Ameztoy's husband ended this confession with humor: "Now I have to learn all the names."

Currently, despite this difficult family tragedy, Luisi leads a peaceful life in the Basque Country, together with her husband, their seven children, and their 13 grandchildren. She also shares with the chef a strong commitment to healthy eating and a balanced lifestyle, based on fresh products and traditional cooking.

In the business field, although she has always led a very discreet life, it is known that Luisi Ameztoy runs the family holding company, Bainet Taldea SL.
