Princess Ingrid, Mette-Marit's daughter, achieves something unbelievable in Norway: there's a photo

Princess Ingrid has managed to become the center of attention during the latest institutional event she attended. Proof of this are the images of Mette-Marit's daughter that have started circulating on social media.

Last Monday, June 23, the Royal Palace of Oslo became the setting for a gala dinner presided over by King Harald and Queen Sonia of Norway. The event was held to mark the official visit of President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte.

This gathering undoubtedly marked a historic moment, since the last time a French head of state visited the Nordic country was in 1984, forty years ago.

However, despite all the top-level surrounding the meeting, there is no doubt that the main protagonist of the evening was Princess Ingrid Alexandra. So much so that, since then, her participation has captured the attention of internet users and international media.

The daughter of Mette-Marit, and second in the line of succession, dazzled with her elegant dress, which made a great visual impact, and a tiara full of family history.

According to reports, Princess Ingrid's choice was not only aesthetic, but also carried a message. The garment, designed by Vivienne Westwood, pays tribute to a designer who was a symbol of conscious and activist fashion.

The gala began in the well-known Hall of Birds, one of the most iconic rooms in the Royal Palace. There, the official greetings between the delegations took place, as well as the traditional exchange of gifts.

Princess Ingrid made her entrance accompanied by her parents, Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marit. Her presence caused enormous expectation, since she had only attended a gala dinner once before.

In addition, it has already been confirmed that this institutional event was one of her last public appearances before starting her new stage of studies in Australia.

For the occasion, Princess Ingrid wore a burgundy satin dress with a strapless neckline and corset, a creation by the iconic Vivienne Westwood. The British designer, who passed away in 2022, was a pioneer in denouncing the environmental impact of the textile industry.

In fact, in 1992, Westwood was awarded the Order of the British Empire for her contribution to fashion and sustainability. That's why Mette-Marit's daughter's choice has not gone unnoticed at all.

As for the jewelry, Princess Ingrid wore again the same diamond and pearl tiara she wore on her 18th birthday. This piece belonged to her great-great-grandmother, Princess Ingeborg of Sweden, who received it from her husband, Prince Carl of Sweden.

Later, Princess Ragnhild, King Harald's older sister, inherited it. However, fulfilling her mother's wish to give it to the future queen of Norway, her son gave it to Ingrid when she came of age.
