Thanks to his talent, Enrique Marzal became one of the most admired fashion designers in the country. So much so that even Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor have trusted him with the creation of some of their personal outfits.
Hours after his sad passing, the Guild of Tailors and Artisans of Valencia deeply mourned his loss through a statement. In it, Marzal's colleagues described him as the "creative soul of a craft he loved with intensity, respect, and admirable dedication."

Meanwhile, members of this group state that the designer for Queen Letizia and Princess Leonor was an "exceptional professional" and the "guardian" of their collective memory.
"He was a man who knew how to weave the past with the present, without losing the authenticity he so strongly defended.[...]His loss leaves an immense void in the heart of our guild," the institution added.

Meanwhile, his nephew Juanjo also wanted to dedicate a few heartfelt words to him. Among other things, he stated that he was "a great worker" and a "great lover of his homeland, its festivals, the Virgin of the Forsaken, and all Valencians."
He also confirmed that his remains would be laid out at the municipal funeral home and that the mass would take place last Sunday at the same venue. Family, friends, and admirers of Enrique Marzal gathered for this farewell.
Enrique Marzal was responsible for making traditional Valencian dresses for Queen Letizia, Queen Sofía, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofía. On his website, he proudly recounted this story:
"I received the commission to coordinate a long process of craft-made work that culminated in two beautiful christening gowns that the young daughters of the current kings of Spain received as a welcome gift from Valencian artisans."
