All alarms have been raised around Princess Amalia of the Netherlands, following the secrecy surrounding her current state of health. This is information that Queen Máxima apparently doesn't want to share with the rest of the citizens.
At the beginning of the week, the eldest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima made headlines after suffering an accident while horseback riding. According to reports, the incident forced the heir to the throne to undergo surgery after fracturing one of her arms.

Initially, Princess Amalia's situation was described as a "scare." In fact, only two days after her surgery, the young woman was discharged from the hospital and was able to return home, where she continues her recovery.
However, due to the confusing attitude shown by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima in the following days, many believe there may be something they haven't revealed.
Queen Máxima raises all alarms after Princess Amalia's accident
The first sign that something might not have been right with Princess Amalia was when Queen Máxima left a live official event after receiving a phone call. However, although she returned to the event minutes later, she did so with a visibly worried expression.
Hours later, the monarch used her social media to report on her daughter's health. "Princess Amalia fractured her arm today after falling from her horse. She'll undergo surgery at UMC Utrecht. Get well soon, Amalia," she wrote.

On June 11, Queen Máxima and her husband reappeared publicly at various official engagements. Although concern was evident on their faces during these events, both tried to convey a message of calm. They even spoke briefly to the press about what had happened.
So much so that, when asked, the monarch assured that Princess Amalia "is very brave and is doing well." Meanwhile, King Willem-Alexander admitted, "I was very impressed." "She's handling it very well, we're very proud of her," he added.
However, while the king kept his commitments and attended another event in the afternoon, Queen Máxima didn't accompany him. The Royal House reported that she had canceled her official schedule for the time being. This decision also affected events she was scheduled to attend alone.

In fact, that day, she didn't attend either the financial health congress she was supposed to attend alone or the Holland Festival of performing arts, which was scheduled with her husband.
Additionally, this Thursday, June 12, the traditional summer photo session of the Royal Family has also been canceled. However, given the situation, they've decided to postpone the event to Monday, June 30.
All these absences by Queen Máxima, despite claiming that her daughter was fine, have caused various speculations. Many are wondering if Amalia's condition might be more delicate than has been communicated.
Nevertheless, some have interpreted her recent cancellations as a sign that the queen is putting her role as a mother above any other responsibility.
