This is the strategy Zarzuela uses to protect Queen Letizia in summer

Queen Letizia wants to spend a discreet summer vacation, so Zarzuela has a strategy to achieve it

With the arrival of summer, the institutional agenda of the Spanish Royal Family enters a necessary pause. After months of public activity, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, together with their daughters, enjoy a well-deserved break that combines occasional appearances with days of complete privacy.

This summer, as in previous years, Zarzuela's strategy to protect Queen Letizia and her family's privacy during their private vacations is underway. Its main pillar is absolute secrecy regarding the final destination of their days of disconnecting.

The Royal Family is already settled in Marivent Palace, in Mallorca, where they have begun their traditional summer stay on the island. Although they have fulfilled some institutional obligations, such as events with their daughters Leonor and Sofía, their schedule is already very close to being closed.

Zarzuela doesn't want to confirm the date of Letizia's private vacation

King Felipe was seen this Tuesday aboard the Aifos, taking part in the regattas. Meanwhile, Letizia was preparing to attend, as she does every year, the closing of the Atlántida Mallorca Film Festival. However, starting August 6, a new stage will begin: their private vacation.

According to journalist and Royal House expert Mariángel Alcázar on the program Vamos a ver, that day the royals are expected to leave Palma. They will do so to begin their well-deserved break away from the media spotlight.

"The fact that they have those private vacations has been consolidated and the operation for the presence of the royals in Marivent will be dismantled," she detailed. This stage marks the beginning of a carefully designed strategy by Zarzuela: to keep the monarchs' whereabouts strictly secret.

This discretion is not accidental. For years, Zarzuela has avoided confirming the destinations or the exact dates of these vacations to preserve Letizia's privacy. They are aware of the media harassment that any leak could generate.

Zarzuela keeps discretion to protect Letizia

As the journalist explained, it is common for the royals to rent a boat and sail accompanied by a small group of friends. This allows them to enjoy a few days away from the noise and cameras.

Even though social media and paparazzi have sometimes managed to obtain images of their getaways, the Royal House remains firm in their policy of silence. No details about these trips are revealed either before or after.

Thus, absolute secrecy has become the main tool to shield Queen Letizia's privacy in summer. Year after year, Zarzuela perfects this strategy that seeks to protect not only her image, but also her personal and family space.
