Sometimes some strange things happen in tornadoes. In Laurel, MS the tornado tore apart this house but left the freshly baked cake on the counter untouched. Thanks to Jerel Wade for sharing the ?. @weatherchannel#tornadopic.twitter.com/BzvqYfXAAf

Why do we tell you to get inside an interior room toward the center of your home when a #tornado is passing through your town? This!! Tornadoes tore through parts of the southeast on Sunday and Monday, killing more than two dozen people. While tornado outbreaks are not that uncommon in April, here’s why researchers think they’re becoming more intense. pic.twitter.com/SEvXmwlH4d
