Sam's Club stands up to Amazon and gives the best news in the U.S.: only a few days left

Sam’s Club responds to Amazon's moves with a proposal that nobody expected in the United States

In the middle of summer, many families are getting ready to take advantage of the sales, since they usually offer the best deals of the season. Major retailers know it's the time to attract customers with irresistible discounts. However, not everyone expected one of Amazon's biggest competitors to make its boldest move right now.

Sam's Club has announced a campaign that aims to exceed expectations and attract thousands of consumers. To compete with the famous Prime Days from Amazon, the chain is offering frozen prices on hundreds of products until July 22, 2025. The initiative promises to ease the financial burden for its members and convince those who are undecided to join the shopping club.

Sam's Club launches a new promotion after Amazon Prime Days

Starting now, customers can access fixed prices on everything needed for summer. Among the items with locked prices are grills, hamburgers, sausages, rotisserie chicken, drinks like strawberry lemonade, and disposable plates. Sunscreens, Igloo coolers, water toys, and lightweight clothing such as t-jerseys or sandals are also included.

Diana Marshall, chief experience officer at Sam's Club, explained: "We listened to our members, and the message was clear: summer is for creating memories. We want them to enjoy every moment without worrying about changing budgets or prices going up every week." The strategy aims to turn seasonal shopping into a simple and predictable experience.

Meanwhile, after July 22, Sam's Club will hold the "July Instant Savings Event" on the 23rd, according to Kiplinger. On that special day, there will be additional discounts on summer items and back-to-school products. Everything is designed to extend savings beyond the usual Amazon Prime Day dates.

Sam's Club challenges Amazon in the United States

Amazon Prime Days were held from July 8 to 11 with discounts in a wide variety of categories, from electronics and home to fashion and food. Amazon Prime costs $139 per year (or $14.99 per month) and offers benefits such as free shipping, unlimited streaming, or discounts on gas. In contrast, Sam's Club offers two membership levels tailored to different budgets.

The Club level costs $50 per year and includes instant savings, two membership cards, and fuel discounts. The Plus option, at $110 per year, adds 2% Sam's Cash cashback, free shipping on orders over $50, and also special shopping hours. In addition, there are active promotions that allow you to get membership at a 50% discount on sites like StackSocial.

There are also reduced prices for teachers, military personnel, healthcare workers, students, and other groups. Buying in bulk throughout the year is one of the club's biggest advantages. Sam's Club wants to show that their offer not only competes for a few days, but provides value all year long.
