Iñaki Urdangarin once again becomes the center of attention after the U-turn he has taken. Several media outlets have revealed that the former Duke of Palma has changed his mind and has made a final and unexpected decision regarding King Felipe.

"The royal family should get ready because in January 2026 a long-range bomb will explode. Because in that month, the memoirs of Iñaki Urdangarin will be published," the journalist said, just before confirming that "they're almost finished" and that they have been "written by his own hand."

Additionally, Pilar Eyre revealed some of the most relevant topics in the former Duke of Palma's memoir. Among them are "his career as a handball player, his life in Barcelona, his love for Infanta Cristina, the encounter with his in-laws," or his high-profile wedding.

However, his time in prison is one of the most desired testimonies. Meanwhile, Iñaki Urdangarin was also willing to talk about his "disappointment" with Juan Carlos and how his relationship with King Felipe changed after the Nóos case broke out.

Now, according to reports, everything indicates that the former Duke of Palma has changed his decision and has chosen not to attack King Felipe in his much desired memoirs.

There is no doubt that Iñaki Urdangarin wants to turn the page once and for all after his divorce from Infanta Cristina. However, everything suggests that before taking this important step, he wants to share with the rest of Spaniards what his life was like within the Spanish royal family.

As has been reported during this time, during his stay in prison, the former Duke of Palma wrote drafts of what would become his first book. In them, several details of his private life appeared, such as his experience in jail.

However, what has attracted the most attention are the names of the royal family that appear in these documents, among them, those of King Felipe and Queen Letizia. Although they do not appear as protagonists, they do appear as key figures in the tensest episodes of his life.

The references to the current monarchs ranged from their relationship to their environment and even some of their private matters. These are topics that Iñaki Urdangarin was not going to address as revenge, but with the aim of seeking justice.

The former Duke of Palma is very aware that he was the one who paid the highest price in the Nóos case. He became the public face of a scandal that involved many more people.

However, now everything indicates that Iñaki Urdangarin has made a radical change on this matter and has decided to remove the most sensitive passages about the monarchs. So much so that he would have deleted any direct mention of King Felipe and Doña Letizia.
