Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor have once again become the center of attention after a desired piece of news about them was confirmed that no one will forget. According to reports, after months apart due to their respective academic commitments, the sisters are together again.
With the arrival of summer, one of the most desired moments within the Spanish royal family has taken place: the reunion between the two daughters of Felipe VI and Letizia.

Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor had been apart for more than five months due to their respective academic and training commitments. For this reason, this desired family gathering has marked the beginning of a brief but significant pause in their busy schedules.
As journalist Mariángel Alcázar reported to La Vanguardia, the Princess of Asturias has had the opportunity to recharge at the Zarzuela Palace. All this before boarding, on June 14, the Blas de Lezo frigate, a warship of the Spanish Navy.

During these days, the future queen has been able to hug her sister, Infanta Sofía, again, with whom she couldn't share either her 18th birthday or her graduation in Wales.

Meanwhile, royalty expert Helena Arriaza has pointed out that the reunion of Infanta Sofía and Princess Leonor has been intimate and very emotional for both. It has become the perfect occasion to "celebrate everything they have pending."
In addition, this moment has allowed the youngest daughter of the kings of Spain to share with her sister what her university plans are, as she is evaluating different options.

However, their reunion hasn't lasted long. This Saturday, Princess Leonor boarded the Blas de Lezo frigate to continue her naval training until June 23. On that date, she will disembark in Ceuta to enjoy a 48-hour break.
Subsequently, the heir to the throne is expected to leave the ship at the beginning of July and then be able to spend more time with Infanta Sofía during the summer.
According to specialist Marion Prudhomme, from the magazine Paris Match, Infanta Sofía's intention was "to make the most of her sister's return." For both, it has been a perfect opportunity to reconnect before resuming different paths in the fall.
As has been confirmed, Princess Leonor will return on September 1 to the Air and Space Academy in San Javier to complete her military training. Meanwhile, Sofía could begin her university stage, unless she opts for a gap year.
