The Spanish Royal Family has just received one of the best pieces of news in recent months. All thanks, among other things, to the developments related to Infanta Sofía.
Years ago, the popularity of the monarchy was severely affected by the multiple scandals of King Juan Carlos I. Information that has gradually come to light and that, as expected, led to the decline of the institution.

However, everything changed with Felipe VI's arrival to the throne. Since that moment, both he and Queen Letizia launched a strategy in an attempt to clean up the image of the Royal House.
Among other measures, they chose to distance the emeritus as much as possible from the institution and to strip Infanta Cristina of her noble title. In addition, as if that were not enough, they decided to limit the number of members in the Royal Family.

So much so that, currently, this group is composed only of Princess Leonor, Infanta Sofía, the monarchs themselves and Queen Sofía. In fact, on their social media, they are the only ones who appear in their posts.
Now, everything suggests that this strategy is bearing fruit, proof of this is the significant increase in followers that the Royal Family's Instagram profile has experienced. This information has brought great joy to the Spanish Crown.
The popularity that Infanta Sofía has gained in recent times has yielded good results
In recent years, Felipe and Letizia have launched a strategy to keep the public image of the Royal Family intact. So much so that, among these measures, they have decided to give greater prominence to their daughters, Princess Leonor and Sofía.
This effort has now been reflected in the increase in popularity that the institution has experienced. This fact has been revealed by journalist and royal expert, Javier López.
"The Leonor and Sofía effect is causing the Royal House's Instagram account to gain almost 20,000 followers (20,000) in two weeks," the journalist wrote on his X profile. This way, the Royal Family's Instagram profile has already reached 921,000 followers (921,000).
In fact, if we look at the feed of this profile, we can see that their latest posts are precisely starring Infanta Sofía and her sister. This gesture confirms this information.
As expected, this news has not gone unnoticed at all among the rest of the users of this social network. So much so that several of them have decided to share their opinions on the matter.
"Both of them are lovely, but Sofía captivates you with her shyness and, when she opens up, even more so," one user wrote. "Of course! They need one million followers (one million), and I don't care that they're a state institution, they have to do it," another user commented.
