Queen Camilla recently turned 78 years old. She has also been named the first honorary Vice Admiral of the United Kingdom, and her public image has improved notably. Every one of her steps has been closely followed, and the latest has not gone unnoticed. The monarch has shared a touching day with several of her grandchildren, and Buckingham Palace hasn't wanted to hide it: The connection with the youngest members of the family is evident.
A few weeks ago, Camilla attended a special event, which coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Wiltshire and Swindon Community Foundation. However, her presence went beyond an institutional act, and the queen took five of her grandchildren on an unexpected outing.

The destination was the pop-up ice cream shop Anya Hindmarch Ice Cream Project, located in Belgravia. This ice cream shop has returned to London for the fourth consecutive year. Its fame has grown due to its extravagant and unusual flavors.

Five of her biological grandchildren attended the event. All of them are children of Tom Parker-Bowles and Laura Lopes, from Camilla's previous marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles. They are Lola, Eliza, Freddy, Gus, and Louis, and the last three served as pages at King Charles III's coronation.
During the visit, the queen and her grandchildren participated in a blind tasting. They tried 15 different flavors. Some turned out to be truly surprising.

Among the ice creams tasted were Irn-Bru, Bird’s custard, Bisto gravy, and Garner’s pickled onions. They also tried flavors like McVitie’s Club Orange biscuit bars, Flying Goose sriracha, Maldon sea salt flakes, and Filippo Berio olive oil. Camilla showed a fun and relaxed attitude, and her grandchildren enjoyed each of the flavors with curiosity.
No one interrupted the activity. There weren't any intrusive cameras either. The visit was as discreet as it was meaningful.

The tasting was part of the so-called Blind Tasting Tea, which is held every afternoon until September. The price is £45 (45 pounds) per person.

It includes the tastings, lemonade or sparkling water, and butter cookies. It's a unique experience, and Camilla wanted to share it with her loved ones.
With this gesture, the queen has made her closeness clear. Buckingham Palace hasn't hidden anything. Camilla's relationship with her grandchildren has been sincere and natural, and it has been more than proven.
